Why buyers look for used Teknion cubicles
Teknion builds systems furniture for large corporate floors, and that is exactly why it shows up on the pre-owned market. When a company consolidates or relocates, whole floors of matching panels, worksurfaces and storage come out at once. That gives you a chance to buy a consistent, well-engineered system at a fraction of new cost.
Teknion workstations are generally built around steel frames with replaceable skins, so tired fabric or scuffed tiles can be swapped without scrapping the frame. That makes them strong candidates for remanufacturing, and it means a used station can look far newer than its age.
One important note up front: Office Station is an independent reseller, not an authorized Teknion dealer. Manufacturer warranties generally do not transfer to pre-owned furniture. What you get from us is a clear condition grade, honest pricing and a plan that fits your space.
What a 6'x6' Teknion-style workstation costs
Rather than guess at a brand premium, we price workstations against three simple tiers. Every number below is for a 6'x6' station, furniture only.
| Tier | Price per 6'x6' station | Typical lead time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Liquidation-grade | $615 | As little as 72 hours in stock | Fast move-ins, budget buildouts, overflow seating |
| Remanufactured | $1,245 | Usually 7-14 days | Client-facing floors that need refreshed fabric and a uniform look |
| New | $1,920 | 4-6 weeks | Specific finishes, configurations or full warranty coverage |
Average market rate Prices subject to availability and project pricing.
Prices exclude electrical, delivery and professional installation. Here is how those add-ons work:
- Installation: $95 per workstation, with a $495 minimum.
- Greater Phoenix delivery: $195 for central zones, $295 for the wider metro.
- Everywhere else nationwide: freight quoted per project.
- Space planning: free.
- Electrical: hardwiring and building power are handled by your licensed electrician.
Volume pricing
Teknion projects tend to be large, so volume discounts matter. You save 5% at 20 or more stations, 8% at 50 or more and 12% at 100 or more.
As an example, 50 remanufactured stations at $1,245 come to $62,250 before the discount. The 8% volume discount brings the furniture to $57,270. Installation adds $4,750 (50 x $95), and delivery is added based on your zone or freight quote.
How we grade pre-owned Teknion pieces
Every piece carries a condition grade so you are never buying blind.
- Grade A, like new: minimal visible wear, clean fabric, straight tops and working hardware.
- Grade B, very good: light wear such as minor edge scuffs or small fabric marks that disappear at a normal viewing distance.
- Grade C, good: fully functional with visible cosmetic wear. A smart choice for back-of-house, training rooms and warehouse offices.
Liquidation-grade stations are sold as found and graded. Remanufactured stations have been cleaned and refreshed so a whole run looks consistent.
What to check before you buy used Teknion cubicles
Systems furniture is only as good as its fit. Walk through this checklist before you commit.
- Panel heights. Decide on seated privacy, standing sightlines or a mix. Lower panels open up light; taller panels cut noise and distraction.
- Footprint and aisles. A 6'x6' station needs aisle clearance on top of its own footprint. Confirm egress widths with your building before you finalize a count.
- Power and data. Note where your floor cores, wall outlets or ceiling feeds sit. Some panels carry base power, and your electrician will need to confirm compatibility with building power.
- Matching an existing floor. If you are adding to a Teknion layout already in place, photograph panel labels, connectors and finishes. Mixed product generations do not always connect cleanly.
- Worksurfaces. Look for flat tops, intact edge banding and solid brackets. Consider whether some users need height-adjustable surfaces.
- Storage. Count pedestals, overheads and lateral files per person. Confirm you are getting keys or can rekey locks.
- Fabric and finish. Ask for close-up photos of the actual lot. Remanufactured stations are the easier route to a uniform color.
- Delivery access. Confirm dock, freight elevator and after-hours rules at the receiving building.
Pair workstations with the right seating
A cubicle is only half a workstation. Most offices buying Teknion systems also need task chairs, and pre-owned seating from brands like Herman Miller, Steelcase, Humanscale and Haworth can be graded and priced the same way. Browse pre-owned office chairs or the wider pre-owned office furniture range to round out each station.
Buying in Greater Phoenix
If your office is in the Valley, zone delivery keeps costs predictable. See local pages for used cubicles in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. Outside Arizona, we quote freight per project, so send your address and station count with your request.
Selling Teknion instead of buying it?
If you are clearing out a Teknion floor, the math works the other way. Our written net offer is the resale value of the furniture minus the cost to remove it. When that number is positive, you get paid. Run the liquidation estimator for a first look.

Frequently asked questions
Are you an authorized Teknion dealer?
No. Office Station is an independent reseller of pre-owned furniture, including Teknion. We are not an authorized Teknion dealer, and manufacturer warranties generally do not transfer to pre-owned pieces. We grade every item so you know its condition before you buy.
How much does a used Teknion cubicle cost?
For a 6'x6' workstation, furniture only, liquidation-grade runs $615, remanufactured runs $1,245 and new runs $1,920. Those prices exclude electrical, delivery and professional installation. Volume pricing takes 5% off at 20+ stations, 8% at 50+ and 12% at 100+.
Can I add stations to an existing Teknion layout?
Often, yes, but it depends on matching the panel system, heights, connectors and finishes. Send us photos of your panel labels, connectors and a tape measure against a panel, and we can tell you whether a match is realistic from available inventory.
How fast can used Teknion cubicles be installed?
Liquidation-grade stations can ship in as little as 72 hours when they are in stock. Remanufactured stations usually take 7 to 14 days, and new stations take 4 to 6 weeks. Installation is $95 per workstation with a $495 minimum.
Do you deliver outside Phoenix?
Yes. Greater Phoenix delivery is $195 for central zones and $295 for the wider metro. Everywhere else in the country, freight is quoted per project based on station count and destination.
