Office Station sells pre-owned Friant workstations as an independent reseller. You get a clear condition grade, a published starting price and a straight answer on lead time. You do not get a sales pitch implying a used cubicle is new.
What buying from an independent reseller means
We are not an authorized Friant dealer. Our pre-owned inventory comes from the used furniture market, including office liquidation and decommissioning projects. That affects three things you should plan around.
- Warranty. Manufacturer warranties generally do not transfer to pre-owned furniture. Assume no factory coverage.
- Availability. Friant lines, panel heights, fabrics and finishes vary by lot. Matched quantities depend on what is in inventory when you order.
- Price. You pay for a used workstation in a stated condition, not dealer list pricing.
Condition grades for Friant workstations
Every pre-owned station gets one of three grades. The grade describes how the furniture looks and functions today, not what it looked like when it shipped from the factory.

A worked example
Say you need 30 remanufactured 6x6 stations delivered and installed in central Phoenix. The furniture is 30 x $1,245, or $37,350. The 5% volume discount brings that to $35,482.50. Installation adds 30 x $95, or $2,850, and central delivery adds $195. Your total before electrical is $38,527.50. The same 30 stations new would be $57,600 in furniture alone.
Liquidation-grade or remanufactured?
The right choice depends on how the space will be used and how soon you need it.
Choose liquidation-grade when speed and budget come first. It suits a temporary project team, overflow seating or an office where appearance is secondary. The grade tells you what wear to expect.
Choose remanufactured when the stations need to look consistent across a floor and hold up to a longer stay. It costs more than liquidation-grade but still comes in well under new, and the lead time is usually measured in days rather than weeks.
Many offices mix the two. Remanufactured stations go where clients and new hires see them first, and liquidation-grade fills interior rows.
What to check on a used Friant workstation
If you are reviewing stations in person or through photos, work through this list on a sample from the lot.
- Panel fabric. Look for stains, snags, fading and loose edges, especially at chair height.
- Panel frames and trim. Check for bent frames, cracked end caps and missing top caps.
- Connectors. Confirm corner and in-line connectors come with the panels. Missing connectors are the most common reason a pre-owned layout stalls on install day.
- Work surfaces. Inspect edges for chips and the laminate for peeling or deep scratches. Confirm brackets are included.
- Storage. Open every drawer and overhead. Locks should turn, and keys should be accounted for or cores replaceable.
- Power. If the panels are powered, note the configuration and plan for a licensed electrician to verify and connect it. Electrical is not included in furniture pricing.
- Quantity match. Count panels by height and width against your plan, not just total stations.
Adding to Friant stations you already own
If your office already has Friant workstations, pre-owned components can be a cost-effective way to add seats. Send photos of your existing stations, including panel labels, top caps and connectors, along with your panel heights and fabric colors. We will tell you honestly whether matching inventory is available or whether a complementary finish makes more sense.
Friant has offered more than one systems line over the years, and parts are not always interchangeable between them. Confirming the line before you buy avoids a mismatch.
