Pre-owned inventory terms
Plain-language terms for pre-owned, remanufactured and new furniture sold by Office Station. Written quotes and invoices control where they differ.
Independent reseller
Office Station is an independent reseller of pre-owned office furniture. We are not an authorized dealer of, and are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by, any manufacturer whose products we sell, including Herman Miller, Steelcase, Knoll, Haworth, Humanscale, Teknion, Allsteel, Kimball, AIS and Friant. Brand and model names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify products.
Warranties
Manufacturer warranties generally do not transfer to pre-owned furniture. Unless a written quote or invoice states an Office Station warranty, pre-owned items are sold as described in their condition grade. New furniture carries the manufacturer's warranty where applicable.
Condition grades
- Grade A, Like new. Minimal signs of use. Fabric, mesh and surfaces clean and intact; all mechanisms work smoothly.
- Grade B, Very good. Light, normal wear such as small scuffs or surface marks. Fully functional; cleaned and inspected.
- Grade C, Good. Visible wear or cosmetic blemishes. Fully functional and priced accordingly; a strong value for back-office use.
Grades describe cosmetic condition. Every item graded A through C is fully functional at inspection.
Availability
Inventory changes daily and is subject to prior sale. Online prices are planning estimates. Quantities, finishes, fabrics and component generations are confirmed in your written quote, which is valid for the period stated on it.
Photos and descriptions
Photos may represent a model or product line rather than the exact unit you receive. Pre-owned systems furniture from different installations can vary in finish, fabric and component generation. Items quoted as a matched run come from a single installation or are confirmed as matching.
Delivery and installation
Delivery windows such as "as little as 72 hours" apply to in-stock liquidation-grade items within the Phoenix metro and depend on quantity, building access and scheduling. Remanufactured furniture usually takes 7 to 14 days, and new furniture 4 to 6 weeks.Building requirements such as certificates of insurance, elevator reservations and after-hours access are coordinated before delivery.
Authenticity
We source from corporate liquidations and inspect manufacturer labels and construction. We do not knowingly sell replicas. If an item is shown not to be authentic as described, contact us for a remedy.
