How to choose a tier
Choose liquidation-grade when time or budget rules
If you need people seated this week, liquidation-grade is the practical answer. You are buying pre-owned workstations in their graded condition: A like new, B very good, or C good. For many teams, a Grade B workstation is indistinguishable in daily use from something far more expensive.
Choose remanufactured when appearance matters
Remanufactured sits in the middle. It costs roughly double liquidation-grade but still about a third less than new, and it usually lands in 7 to 14 days. It suits offices with client traffic or a leadership team that wants the space to feel fresh.
Choose new when specifications are fixed
If your design calls for exact current finishes or a manufacturer-new product, new is the right tier. Build the 4 to 6 week lead time into your move schedule.

At 50 or more stations the discount rises to 8%, and at 100 or more it reaches 12%. Delivery and electrical are added on top, as explained below.
Costs outside the furniture price
- Space planning: free. We lay out your floor before you commit.
- Installation: $95 per workstation, $495 minimum. A five-station job, for example, would total $475 at the per-station rate, so the $495 minimum applies.
- Delivery in Greater Phoenix: $195 for the central zone or $295 for the wider metro. See local details for Phoenix and nearby cities.
- Delivery elsewhere: freight is quoted per project anywhere else in the country.
- Electrical: not included. Powered panels and desking need a connection to building power, typically by a licensed electrician.
From layout to move-in
A workstation project goes smoother when the steps happen in the right order. Here is the sequence we recommend for a Knoll cubicle order:
- Share your floor plan and headcount. Include any columns, doors and existing power locations.
- Get a free space plan. We lay out workstations so you can see seat count, aisle widths and sightlines before you spend anything.
- Pick a tier, or a mix. Match the tier to your deadline and budget using the comparison above.
- Book your electrician. Give them the plan early so power is ready when furniture arrives.
- Confirm building logistics. Freight elevator reservations, dock times and certificate of insurance requirements belong on the calendar before install day.
- Install and walk the floor. Check every station for level worksurfaces, secure panels and working drawers before your team moves in.
If you are on a tight deadline, tell us your move-in date first. That single detail usually decides the tier.
Knoll-specific checklist before you order
- Confirm the product line. Knoll systems such as Dividends Horizon, Reff and Morrison use different components, and parts are not interchangeable across lines.
- Match panel or screen heights to the privacy and sightlines you want.
- If you are adding to existing Knoll workstations, send photos of connectors and worksurface brackets.
- Decide on storage per station: pedestals, overhead bins or none.
- Map power and data locations so your electrician can plan early.
