When you compare office furniture quotes, delivery and installation are where the numbers tend to drift. One vendor bundles them, another leaves them vague, and a third adds a fuel charge at the end. Office Station publishes its rates so you can build a complete budget before you ask for a quote.
Delivery and installation rates
| Service | Rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery, Greater Phoenix central zone | $195 | Zone confirmed on your quote |
| Delivery, Greater Phoenix metro zone | $295 | Wider metro addresses |
| Delivery, elsewhere nationwide | Quoted per project | Freight priced on items and destination |
| Professional installation | $95 per workstation | $495 minimum |
| Space planning | Free | Helps confirm layout before install day |
| Electrical hookup | Not included | Arrange with a licensed electrician |

How the installation minimum works
The $95 per workstation rate has a $495 minimum. In practice:
- 1 to 5 stations: $495 flat, since five stations at $95 comes to $475.
- 6 stations: $570.
- 12 stations: $1,140.
- 40 stations: $3,800.
If you are just under the line, it can make sense to add the chair mats, pedestals or an extra station you were planning to buy later so the minimum is not wasted.
A complete delivered-and-installed example
Say you need 20 remanufactured 6'x6' workstations delivered to a wider-metro Phoenix address and installed. Remanufactured stations are $1,245 each, furniture only, and 20 stations reach the 5% volume pricing tier.
| Line item | Amount |
|---|---|
| 20 remanufactured workstations | $24,900 |
| 5% volume pricing | -$1,245 |
| Installation (20 x $95) | $1,900 |
| Metro zone delivery | $295 |
| Total before electrical | $25,850 |

Volume pricing steps up to 8% at 50 or more stations and 12% at 100 or more. Delivery and installation are shown here as separate lines so you can see each one clearly.

How nationwide freight is quoted
Outside Greater Phoenix, delivery is priced per project because the variables change too much for a flat rate. To get an accurate freight quote quickly, send:
- The delivery address, including suite or floor
- An item list: station count and size, chairs, desks, tables and storage
- Building access details: dock or no dock, freight elevator, stairs or long carries
- Your target date and any hours when deliveries are not allowed
- Whether you want installation priced at the same time
A complete list up front avoids a second round of questions and gives you a number you can actually budget against.
What installation covers
Installation at $95 per workstation means a crew assembles your stations on site according to your layout: panels connected, work surfaces mounted and storage placed. It does not include connecting powered panels to building electrical, which is why electrical is listed separately. If you used free space planning, the crew works from that plan, which is the easiest way to avoid moving a run of stations after it is built.
Timing: when furniture can arrive
Delivery can only be as fast as the furniture is available. Lead times depend on the tier you choose:
- Liquidation-grade: as little as 72 hours when in stock.
- Remanufactured: usually 7 to 14 days.
- New: 4 to 6 weeks.
If your move-in date is fixed, start from that date and work backward. Leave room for the electrician after installation, since stations with power panels are not usable until they are connected.
Delivery day checklist
- Confirm the address and suite so the correct delivery zone is quoted.
- Ask property management about loading dock hours and freight elevator reservations.
- Request the certificate of insurance your building requires, with the right certificate holder listed.
- Check after-hours rules. Some buildings require furniture moves on nights or weekends.
- Clear the floor. Remove old furniture, boxes and anything sitting where stations will go.
- Mark the layout using your space plan so the crew knows where each run of stations lands.
- Schedule your electrician for after installation is complete.
- Walk the finished install and note any issues before the crew leaves.
What we deliver and install
Delivery and installation apply across what Office Station sells: used cubicles and workstations, pre-owned office furniture including desks, tables and storage, and pre-owned office chairs. Pre-owned designer brands are sold as an independent reseller, not an authorized dealer, and manufacturer warranties generally do not transfer to pre-owned furniture.
Clearing an old space first?
If old furniture is standing between you and install day, removal can be part of the plan. For offices in Office Station's liquidation markets, you get a written net offer: the resale value of the furniture minus removal cost. When that number is positive, you are paid. See office decommissioning for what a full clear-out includes, from itemized inventory to a photo-documented broom-clean handback.

Frequently asked questions
How much does office furniture delivery cost in Phoenix?
Greater Phoenix delivery is $195 for central zones and $295 for the wider metro. Your quote will show which zone applies to your address. Outside Greater Phoenix, freight is quoted per project.
How much does workstation installation cost?
Professional installation is $95 per workstation with a $495 minimum. That means orders of five or fewer stations pay the $495 minimum, and six or more pay $95 each.
Is electrical hookup included in installation?
No. Workstation prices and installation exclude electrical. If your stations have powered panels, plan on a licensed electrician to make the connection to building power.
Do you deliver office furniture outside Arizona?
Yes. Delivery elsewhere in the country is handled as freight and quoted per project, based on what is shipping and where it is going. Share your address, item list and any building requirements to get an accurate number.
Can I install the furniture myself?
Installation is priced separately from furniture, so you can choose. Keep in mind that workstation systems involve panels, connectors and work surface supports, and a crew that installs them regularly will usually finish faster and with fewer missing parts.
