- Product labels. Look under work surfaces, inside pedestal drawers and on the underside of chair seats. Photograph any label with a product name, model number or date.
- Panel heights and widths. Measure several panels, since offices often mix heights.
- Connection hardware. Photograph where two panels meet and where a work surface attaches.
- Power. Note whether panels carry built-in electrical and where the base feed enters.
- Finishes. Photograph fabric, laminate and paint in natural light. Finishes that look identical in a catalog can differ noticeably in person.
