How the grading scale works
Office Station uses three condition grades for pre-owned furniture. Grades describe appearance and wear. They are not a substitute for confirming that each station is complete and structurally sound, which every grade should be.
- A, like new. Close to showroom appearance. You would need to look carefully to find wear.
- B, very good. Light wear consistent with careful office use, generally not noticeable at normal viewing distance.
- C, good. Visible wear that does not affect function. Priced for spaces where budget outranks appearance.
What each grade looks like, component by component
Wear shows up differently on each part of a workstation. Use this table as a practical reference when you compare stations or check a delivery.

Grade, tier and price
Grades apply to pre-owned inventory. Separately, you choose a tier that reflects how much work goes into a station before it ships. Office Station's furniture-only prices for a 6'x6' workstation are below. They exclude electrical, delivery and professional installation, and a Leverage quote will depend on configuration and stock.

Volume pricing is 5% off at 20 or more stations, 8% at 50 or more and 12% at 100 or more. Installation is $95 per workstation with a $495 minimum.
Mixing grades on one floor
You rarely need grade A everywhere. A common approach is to map your floor into zones and assign a grade to each.
- Visible zones. Areas near entrances, conference rooms and client paths get grade A or remanufactured stations.
- Everyday zones. General team areas get grade B, which most employees will not distinguish from A.
- Utility zones. Training rooms, overflow seating and back-office work get grade C.
Keep each run a single grade where possible. Wear differences are easiest to spot when a grade A panel sits right beside a grade C one. - Panel heights match your plan.
- Fabric and laminate condition matches the stated grade.
- No damage from transit, especially on worksurface corners and edge banding.
- Drawers open and close smoothly, and you know whether keys are included.
- Power components are present as quoted, with electrical work scheduled with a licensed electrician.

Warranty and expectations
Office Station sells pre-owned Teknion as an independent reseller, not as an authorized dealer. Manufacturer warranties generally do not transfer to pre-owned furniture. That is exactly why clear grading, itemized lists and a careful delivery check are worth the few extra minutes.
