A common approach is lower panels facing windows and aisles, with taller panels on the sides between neighbors. Decide on this during planning, because a pre-owned lot may be weighted toward one height.
Liquidation-grade, remanufactured or new?
Condition grade and sourcing option are two different choices. Liquidation-grade furniture is pre-owned and sold as it comes out of an office, graded on its condition. Remanufactured furniture has been refreshed before sale and costs more, but it narrows the gap in appearance. New costs the most and takes the longest.
A practical rule: if your move-in date is close, start with in-stock liquidation-grade stations, which can be ready in as little as 72 hours. If you have a few weeks and want a more uniform look, remanufactured is usually the sweet spot. Choose new only when you need a specific finish or quantity that pre-owned supply cannot meet.
