A worked install example
Say you are installing 40 seats. Installation at $95 each is $3,800, well above the $495 minimum, and the order qualifies for the 5% volume tier on furniture. For a small 4-seat pod, $95 each would total $380, so the $495 minimum applies instead.
Choosing a grade for benching
Liquidation-grade is the fastest and least expensive path. It fits startups, project teams and overflow space where speed matters more than a perfect finish. Remanufactured sits in the middle, a good choice when you want a consistent, refreshed look without new-furniture lead times. New makes sense when you need exact finishes or a very specific configuration and can wait 4 to 6 weeks.
For individual components such as chairs, pedestals and screens, pre-owned pieces are condition graded A like new, B very good or C good. Office Station is an independent reseller, not an authorized dealer, and manufacturer warranties generally do not transfer to pre-owned furniture.

- Measure the run. Confirm total length, desk depth and aisle clearance on your floor plan.
- Count seats per run. Double-sided benches seat people facing each other; single-sided runs work along walls.
- Check the frame. Look for bent legs, stripped connectors and missing beam hardware.
- Confirm power. Know whether the system uses plug-in power or needs hardwiring, and where floor or wall feeds are.
- Specify screens. Decide on desk-mounted privacy screens before ordering, not after.
- Plan storage. Benching has little built-in storage, so budget pedestals or lockers.
