Used Cubicle Prices in 2026: What Cubicles Really Cost

A straight answer on what cubicles cost, from liquidation-grade to brand new, including the chairs, installation and delivery that make up the real number on your invoice.

Cubicle pricing online is a mess of ranges so wide they are useless. This guide gives you real numbers from Office Station's current pricing model, shows exactly how the math works, and explains what pushes a quote up or down so you can compare sellers with confidence.

The short answer

A standard 6'x6' cubicle with mid-height panels costs about $615 liquidation-grade, $1,245 remanufactured and $1,920 new at Office Station. That is the furniture only: prices do not include electrical, delivery or professional installation, and space planning is free. Add a task chair, installation and delivery, and a fully set-up workstation typically lands between roughly $825 and $2,300 per person depending on grade and quantity.

The grade you choose matters more than any other decision. Liquidation-grade means used furniture that has been cleaned and inspected. Remanufactured means the steel frames are reused but wear surfaces like fabric, worksurfaces and edge banding are replaced. New means new from a commercial manufacturer. If you are unsure which is right for you, read used vs remanufactured vs new cubicles first.

Cubicle prices by size and grade

These are Office Station's per-workstation furniture prices with mid-height (53-inch) panels. Each price covers the panels, worksurface and standard components that make up one station.

WorkstationLiquidation-gradeRemanufacturedNew
5'x5' compactabout $525-$555about $1,060-$1,120about $1,630-$1,730
6'x6' standard$615$1,245$1,920
6'x8' large$725$1,410$2,170
8'x8' manager$850$1,615$2,470
Open bench seat$460$875$1,235

Average market rate Prices subject to availability and project pricing.

The 5'x5' is not in the online quote builder, so treat those figures as an estimate: compact stations usually run 10-15% below a 6'x6' in the same grade. Bench seating is the cheapest per person because seats share a long worksurface and use few or no panels.

Notice the spread between sizes is smaller than the spread between grades. Moving from a 6'x6' to a 6'x8' adds $110 at liquidation-grade, while moving from liquidation-grade to new adds more than $1,300. If your team needs more room, upsizing is often cheaper than you expect. Not sure which size fits your floor plan? The cubicle size guide walks through the square-footage math.

How panel height changes price

Taller panels use more steel, more fabric and often glass or stacked tiles, so they cost more. Office Station prices mid-height panels as the baseline and applies a multiplier for low and tall panels.

6'x6' stationLow 42" (x0.95)Mid 53" (x1.00)Tall 65" (x1.08)
Liquidation-gradeabout $584$615about $664
Remanufacturedabout $1,183$1,245about $1,345
Newabout $1,824$1,920about $2,074

Average market rate Prices subject to availability and project pricing.

The same multipliers apply to 6'x8' and 8'x8' stations. A tall-panel 8'x8' manager station, for example, runs about $918 liquidation-grade, $1,744 remanufactured and $2,668 new.

Height is a work-style decision more than a budget decision. Low panels keep sightlines open and suit collaborative teams. Mid-height panels give seated privacy while standing staff can still see across the floor. Tall panels suit call-heavy roles like sales, support and collections, where acoustic separation pays for itself.

Chairs, pedestals, offices and conference rooms

Most offices buy more than workstations. Here is what the common add-ons cost at Office Station, each.

Add-onLiquidation-gradeRemanufacturedNew
Ergonomic task chair$145$245$395
Mobile pedestal$95$145$245
Private office suite$695$1,150$2,250
Conference table + 8 chairs$1,450$2,400$4,200

Chairs are the add-on people underestimate. On a 40-person job, chairs can add a third to the furniture budget. They are also where quality varies most, so inspect mechanisms, cylinders and upholstery closely on used seating. Browse the broader range at pre-owned office furniture.

Installation and delivery

Installation is where cheap cubicle quotes get expensive. Office Station furniture prices do not include electrical, delivery or professional installation, so those are quoted as their own lines. Space planning is free. Systems furniture has to be assembled level, connected panel to panel, and in many cases wired for power. Office Station prices it simply:

  • Installation: $95 per workstation, with a $495 minimum per job.
  • Private office suites count as 3 installation units ($285).
  • Conference rooms count as 2 installation units ($190).
  • Delivery: $195 central Valley, $295 greater Phoenix, $495 outside the metro.

The $495 minimum matters for small jobs. Four workstations would be $380 at the per-station rate, so the minimum applies. At six stations or more, you pay the per-station rate. Your delivery zone is set by your address in the instant quote builder.

Installation does not include hardwiring panels to building power. A licensed electrician makes that connection, and it is a separate line in your budget.

Volume pricing

Office Station discounts the furniture subtotal on larger orders:

  • 20 or more workstations: 5% off furniture
  • 50 or more workstations: 8% off furniture
  • 100 or more workstations: 12% off furniture

The discount applies to furniture, including chairs and other add-ons on the order. It does not apply to installation or delivery. If you are at 18 or 19 stations, run the numbers both ways: adding a station or two to cross the 20 threshold can cost less than you think.

Worked examples

Here is the same 40-person office priced at all three grades. Each quote is 40 6'x6' stations with mid-height panels, 40 ergonomic task chairs, installation and central Valley delivery.

Line itemLiquidation-gradeRemanufacturedNew
40 workstations$24,600$49,800$76,800
40 task chairs$5,800$9,800$15,800

Volume discount (5%)-$1,520-$2,980-$4,630
Installation (40 x $95)$3,800$3,800$3,800
Delivery (central Valley)$195$195$195
Total (before electrical)$32,875$60,615$91,965
Per personabout $822about $1,515about $2,299

Average market rate Prices subject to availability and project pricing.

Remanufactured saves about $31,000 against new on this job. Liquidation-grade saves another $27,700 on top of that. Space planning is free at every grade. Installation and delivery stay the same regardless of grade, which is why the percentage savings on the total are a little smaller than on the furniture alone.

A small office: 8 people with an office and conference room

Say you need 8 liquidation-grade 6'x6' stations, 8 chairs, one private office suite and a conference room, delivered in the central Valley:

  • 8 workstations at $615: $4,920
  • 8 task chairs at $145: $1,160
  • Private office suite: $695
  • Conference table + 8 chairs: $1,450
  • Furniture subtotal: $8,225 (no volume discount under 20 stations)
  • Installation: 8 + 3 + 2 = 13 units at $95 = $1,235
  • Delivery: $195
  • Total: $9,655, before any electrical work

A call center: 20 tall-panel stations

For 20 liquidation-grade 6'x8' stations with tall 65-inch panels and chairs, delivered to greater Phoenix: stations are $725 x 1.08 = $783 each, or $15,660. Chairs add $2,900, for $18,560. The 5% discount takes off $928, leaving $17,632. Installation is $1,900 and delivery $295, for a total of about $19,827 before electrical, or roughly $990 per seat.

What drives cubicle prices

Beyond size, grade and height, these factors explain most of the difference between two quotes for "the same" cubicles.

Manufacturer and system line

Major systems lines hold value because their parts are widely available and they reconfigure cleanly. Lesser-known or discontinued lines can be cheaper up front but harder to expand or repair later. Ask what system you are buying and whether matching parts are available.

Condition and finish consistency

A liquidation lot pulled from a single office usually matches: same fabric, same laminate, same trim. Mixed lots cost less but look assembled. If a uniform look matters, remanufactured gives you new fabric and surfaces in one consistent finish.

Powered vs non-powered panels

Panels with built-in electrical raceways and harnesses cost more to buy and require an electrician to connect. Non-powered stations with power poles or floor boxes may be simpler if your building already has the right outlets.

Quantity in stock

Used pricing depends on supply. A large, matched set of 100 identical stations is scarcer than a set of 20. If your project needs a big matched quantity, lock inventory early, especially when you are timing a move. Offices that are downsizing feed that supply through office furniture liquidation.

Configuration complexity

Straight rows of identical stations are fastest to install. L-shaped runs, curved panels, mixed heights and glass toppers add parts and labor. Keep the plan simple and your budget goes further.

Costs sellers leave out

A realistic budget includes the items that sit outside a furniture quote:

  • Electrical hardwiring by a licensed electrician for powered panels.
  • Data and low-voltage cabling to each station.
  • Building requirements such as certificates of insurance, freight elevator reservations and after-hours move windows, which can affect labor scheduling.
  • Removal of your existing furniture, which may be offset if it has resale value.
  • Storage if furniture arrives before your space is ready.
  • Permits in some jurisdictions for larger reconfigurations. Check local code with your landlord or architect.

If you are moving and have furniture to get rid of at the same time, coordinate both sides. Corporate relocation services can handle the removal and new install in one schedule, and the office furniture liquidation guide explains how to recover value from what you leave behind.

How to get an accurate quote

You will get a faster, tighter quote if you have these ready:

  1. Headcount by role, including managers who need larger stations or offices.
  2. A floor plan or rough dimensions, with columns, windows and door locations marked.
  3. Panel height preference for each team.
  4. Power and data needs per station.
  5. Your move-in date, so the seller can confirm stock or lead time.
  6. Delivery address and building rules, including dock access and elevator limits.

Timing affects cost too. In-stock liquidation-grade stations can be ready in as little as 72 hours and remanufactured stations usually take 7-14 days, while new furniture typically takes 4-6 weeks. If your lease date is fixed, that difference can save you rent on an empty space or temporary setup. Frequently asked questions

How much does a used cubicle cost in 2026?

At Office Station, a liquidation-grade 6'x6' workstation with mid-height panels is $615, and a remanufactured 6'x6' is $1,245. A comparable new station is about $1,920. Larger 6'x8' and 8'x8' stations cost more. Furniture prices exclude electrical, delivery and professional installation, and space planning is free.

How much does a complete cubicle setup cost per person?

Once you add a task chair, installation and delivery, plan on roughly $825 per person for liquidation-grade, $1,500 for remanufactured and $2,300 for new, before electrical, based on a 40-station 6'x6' job. Smaller jobs run a little higher per person because delivery and installation minimums are spread across fewer stations.

Are used cubicles worth it compared to new?

For most offices, yes. Used systems furniture is built on steel panel frames designed to be taken down and reinstalled, so the structure usually has plenty of life left. At Office Station pricing, workstations cost about two-thirds as much remanufactured and about a third as much liquidation-grade compared with new, and in-stock liquidation-grade inventory can be installed in days instead of weeks.

Does panel height affect cubicle price?

Yes. Office Station prices mid-height 53-inch panels as the baseline. Low 42-inch panels run about 5% less, and tall 65-inch panels run about 8% more, because taller panels use more material and often include stacked or glass tiles.

Is installation included in used cubicle prices?

Not usually, and you should confirm this with any seller. Office Station charges $95 per workstation for installation with a $495 minimum, and a private office counts as three units while a conference room counts as two. Delivery is priced separately by zone.

Do you get a discount for buying a lot of cubicles?

Office Station applies volume pricing to furniture: 5% off at 20 or more workstations, 8% off at 50 or more, and 12% off at 100 or more. The discount applies to the furniture subtotal, not to installation or delivery.
