Buying used office furniture in Glendale, AZ usually starts with a listing and a guess about whether it will fit. That guess is where budgets go sideways: stations that block an exit path, a conference table that leaves no room for chairs, or an order that comes up two seats short. Office Station starts with free space planning instead, so the pre-owned furniture you buy is the furniture your space actually needs.

This page explains what a space plan covers, what to send, how to use condition grades to control cost and what delivery to a Glendale address costs.

Why plan before you buy pre-owned

Pre-owned inventory comes in the sizes and configurations that corporate offices happened to buy. That is great for price, but it means you cannot always order a custom dimension. A plan tells you early whether a 6'x6' workstation works in your room or whether you should be looking at a different footprint.

A good plan answers questions like these:

  • How many workstations fit while keeping clear aisles and paths to exits?
  • Where do power and data need to reach, and does that change station orientation?
  • Do panel heights support the privacy your team needs without darkening the room?
  • Where do shared files, printers and supply storage go?
  • Is there room for growth, or will a second order require a reconfiguration?

What to send for your Glendale space plan

You do not need architectural drawings. The more accurate your inputs, the more useful the plan.

Use grades and tiers to shape the budget

Once the layout is set, you decide where to spend. Pre-owned pieces carry a condition grade: A like new, B very good and C good. Workstations also come in three tiers, priced here for a 6'x6' station, furniture only:

  • Liquidation-grade: $615, in as little as 72 hours when in stock
  • Remanufactured: $1,245, usually 7 to 14 days
  • New: $1,920, typically 4 to 6 weeks

Those prices exclude electrical, delivery and professional installation. A common Glendale approach is to put remanufactured or A-grade pieces where clients and visitors walk, then use liquidation-grade B or C pieces in back-office areas. The plan shows exactly how many stations fall into each zone, so you can price the split precisely.

For example, a 12-person office with 4 client-facing stations and 8 back-office stations would come to $4,980 for the remanufactured stations and $4,920 for the liquidation-grade stations, or $9,900 in furniture. Twelve remanufactured stations would be $14,940. Volume pricing starts at 20 stations with 5% off, then 8% at 50 and 12% at 100.

Brands and what pre-owned means for warranty

Office Station sells pre-owned furniture from Herman Miller, Steelcase, Knoll, Haworth, Humanscale, Teknion, Allsteel, Kimball, AIS and Friant. It does so as an independent reseller, not an authorized dealer, and manufacturer warranties generally do not transfer to pre-owned pieces. That is normal for the pre-owned market, and it is why the grade and a close look at each component matter.

Delivery and installation to Glendale

Glendale is part of the Greater Phoenix delivery area, which means flat zone pricing rather than a freight quote:

  • Central zone delivery: $195
  • Metro zone delivery: $295
  • Installation: $95 per workstation, $495 minimum

Your address sets the delivery zone, and it is confirmed on your written quote. On the 12-station example above, installation would be $1,140. Electrical is not included, so coordinate any power connections with a licensed electrician and your building management.

A realistic Glendale timeline

  1. Send your inputs. Floor plan or measurements, headcount and move-in date.
  2. Review the plan. Adjust station count, aisles and room uses until it works.
  3. Choose tiers and grades. Decide where to spend and where to save.
  4. Approve the quote. Furniture, delivery zone and installation appear as separate lines.
  5. Schedule delivery. Book electrical work around the install date.

If your plan relies on new furniture, start at least 6 weeks before move-in. If you are working from in-stock liquidation-grade furniture, the timeline can be much shorter.

Leaving another space behind?

If your move leaves furniture behind in an office that is closing or downsizing, Office Station provides office furniture liquidation in the Phoenix market. You receive a written net offer based on resale value minus removal cost, with walkthroughs typically within 48 hours in Greater Phoenix.

Frequently asked questions

Is space planning really free?

Yes. Space planning is free when you are considering Office Station furniture. Send a floor plan or measurements and your headcount, and you get a layout showing how stations, aisles and storage fit before you commit to an order.

What do I need to send for a Glendale space plan?

A floor plan or tape measurements of the room, the locations of doors, windows, columns and power, and your current and expected headcount. Photos of the space help fill in details a sketch misses.

What does delivery to Glendale cost?

Greater Phoenix delivery is $195 in the central zone or $295 in the metro zone. Your Glendale address determines the zone, and it is confirmed on your written quote.

What do the condition grades mean?

Pre-owned furniture is graded A for like new, B for very good and C for good. Grade affects cosmetics more than function, so many offices use A-grade pieces in visible areas and B or C in back rooms.

Can I mix pre-owned and new furniture?

Yes. A space plan can combine liquidation-grade, remanufactured and new pieces. Just keep in mind that new workstations take 4 to 6 weeks while in-stock liquidation-grade pieces can be ready in as little as 72 hours.
